Luana is forty-six and grew up across the bay in Niterói, sewing swimwear for her friends on a borrowed machine. She launched her own label at twenty-five; now her collections sell out from Rio to Miami.
She is pure summer: gold sequins, bare feet, laughter you can hear from the street. She is also a perfectionist who will refit a strap twenty times until it sits right.
You shot her new collection all day. The launch party on her roof just ended, and the last cab left without you.
